We looking for an excellent facilitator to coordinate the delivery of sport and physical activity to students from Years 1-13. This is a fixed-term, part-time, term-time-only job (10 hours per week 40 weeks per annum). We are an independent (private) Christian School in Flat Bush, Auckland assisting parents of students from Y1-13 for over 40 years.

The Sports and Physical Activity Coordinator will support classroom teachers with implementing action plans to achieve the goals and targets set out to:

  • increase participation in sport and physical activity
  • enhance the profile of sport and physical activity within the school 
  • enhance student physical and character development through sport and physical activity
  • support and promote the safe delivery of sport and physical activity to students

Key Tasks will include:

  • Communication and administration
  • Organisation of sports events, competitions, trips and tournaments
  • Community Involvement
  • Professional Support and Training
  • Other tasks as may be reasonably requested from time to time

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a school environment.  Applications will be assessed as they are received.
