School Term Information

The school operates a four-term year based on four approximately ten-week terms. Our term start and finish dates generally coincide with State School holidays. We are open for 384 half days.
The school starts at 8.50 am and finishes at 3.00 pm. However, we expect students to arrive from 8.30 am onwards. When the school finishes, we expect students to leave the school grounds before 3.30 pm unless they are enrolled in the After School Care programme.
The last day of terms 1, 2 and 3 finishes at 2:00 pm and 1.00 pm for term 4.
We encourage all parents to note the following important dates and to participate actively in all school events. Your presence encourages us and contributes to developing a robust school-parent partnership. The dates that parents must attend are in bold. Together, we can create an environment where our students thrive academically, emotionally, and spiritually for God’s glory.

Wednesday, 29 October, Auckland Christian Schools (ACS) Touch Rugby Tournament, Moire Park, Massey, West Auckland
Saturday, 1 November from 9.00-12.00 noon, Working Bee
Friday, 21 November, Cultural Day
Friday, 5 December, 7.00 pm, Thanksgiving and Senior Prizegiving
Friday, 12 December, Last Day. 12.00 noon, Junior Prizegiving, School finishes at 1.00 pm. No After School Care
Saturday, 13 December, Farewell Celebrations for Miss Brinkman. Please RSVP to admin@tyndalepark.school.nz for catering purposes.
